Feeding Water Plants to your Waterfowl

Water plants are always a delicious & quickly devoured snack for your waterfowl.

Water plants are a natural source of nutrients and a fun way to mix up a flocks diet.

We like remove invasive plants like water lettuce and water hyacinths from neighboring ponds. These plants can push out native plant species and reduce natural growing algae that provide a food source for fish.

We pull out the plants and provide them as a food source for our ducks and geese to devour. It takes them a couple of days to finish off a full supply of them, and they usually start with the roots of the plant.
